Creating a digital showcase for a collection without a public gallery.
P&O Heritage looks after the collections and archives of one of Britain’s oldest and most venerable shipping companies. They have a wealth of collections, and some outstanding images, but unlike many other collections, they don’t have a venue or gallery to show it all off in.

We built them a complete new website, putting their collections data and beautiful images front and centre. We also extracted data about the history of individual P&O ships from PDF factsheets and integrated it into the collections search, to make life easier for researchers.
It’s been really rewarding and reassuring working with Mike and Jeremy and the TMP team on our website. They know their stuff, of course, but they know yours too(!), particularly when it comes to collections. They knew intuitively what we would want and also what would work within our timeline, budget and internal resources. I think their experience in the field really marks them out. We are a tiny team and it definitely helped us enormously to be able to lean into their considerable museum and heritage experience.
